La parole chanceuse is originally a short text by Marguerite Duras from her collection La vie matérielle, of which only the title remains. The author describes the invisible armament that gives a so-called "lucky" speech to an audience. And when it happened to you once, « la parole chanceuse », it happens to you all the time after. The borrowing of this "magic" formulation serves as a pretext for the unfolding of a story: the daily life of a young girl’s home, their learning of the world. The indices of time, place and action are incomplete. To this story is enshrined the speech of Mohamed Ali who preceded his fight against George Foreman in 1974.
